GOLDEN BARK ALUMNI

"We adopted Chips & Salsa a few months ago shortly after our two senior pups passed on. Both are around 12, Salsa is full of energy and kisses and follows me everywhere as long as she has one of her toys with her! Chips is the happiest curled up next to us. When he's outside he runs and bounds like a deer like he's in pure bliss! They both sleep under the blankets poking their heads out to see what's going on. They have an incredible bond and will clean each other's face and ears. Adopting seniors has given me an even greater purpose at this stage in my life! They have so much love to give even after trauma and even as they age. I wish I could convey how rewarding this has been to our families lives! We give them unconditional love and the security of having found their absolute forever family! If you have the love, time and a little bit of patience to give, please consider rescuing a senior fur baby! You'll find it to be absolutely wonderful!"

"Shortly after the gala our vet removed the mass that hung over her eye and she's like a new dog! She loves playing and going on nightly walks with her beagle sister. We spent Thanksgiving on the river and discovered that Scout enjoys long walks on the beach. Every day she wakes up and is showered with love all day. This year Scout is definitely a family addition that we're thankful for"

"Burt is doing great!! We love him so much. He’s been the easiest dog I have ever adopted. He’s really fit in to our family seamlessly. I feel like we’ve had him for years. Nacho and he are wonderful together and their relationship is so sweet. I think Burt has really helped Nacho after our last dog passed away.  He loves going on walks and playing with toys. He’s a very sweet and affectionate boy. Thanks for all the work you do in rescuing all these wonderful senior pups. I know it’s a lot of work and can take a village"
